Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute

My journey into physical therapy began with a deep curiosity about movement, body autonomy, and what truly supports a high quality of life. During PT school, I discovered my passion for manual therapy and immersed myself in the Functional Manual Therapy paradigm, which continues to shape my clinical approach today. I’m currently HawaiÊ»i’s only Certified Functional Manual Therapist and one of only a few pelvic floor specialists in the state.

Over the years, my practice has evolved toward treating complex, multifactorial conditions. I specialize in Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Connective Tissue Disorders, Traumatic Injuries, and Orthopedic Injuries, with a focus on helping patients better understand and trust their bodies through every stage of recovery.

What inspires me most is being able to help people feel more confident, capable, and comfortable in their bodies—whether they’re recovering from injury, navigating chronic symptoms, or working to prevent future setbacks.

Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our chocolate Labrador, being outdoors, continuing my education, and traveling whenever I can.

DR. RAVEN MCGRATH PT, DPT

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center
Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Tarleton State University

Expertise:

Orthopedic Rehabilitation || Sports Injury Rehabilitation || Post-Operative Rehabilitation || Endurance Athlete Performance and Injury Prevention
|| Youth and Female Athlete Development || Functional Strength and Conditioning Integration || Pelvic Health || Manual Therapy

My passion for physical therapy began with a love of movement, performance, and helping people return to the activities they enjoy most. After earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2020, I moved to Hawaiʻi and have since worked with a wide range of patients, from athletes and active adults to those recovering from surgery and injury.

I specialize in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, and injury prevention, with a particular interest in working with runners, endurance athletes, and young female athletes. As both a physical therapist and endurance athlete, I understand the physical and mental challenges of training, injury, and recovery. My approach combines evidence-based care, hands-on treatment, and individualized exercise programs to help patients move better, recover fully, and perform with confidence.

My favorite part of physical therapy is building meaningful relationships with patients and partnering with them throughout their recovery. Whether returning to sport, recovering from surgery, or simply moving with less pain, my goal is to help each person achieve lasting strength and confidence.

Outside the clinic, I enjoy training for endurance events, running, cycling, swimming, exploring Hawaiʻi with my dogs, Jagger and Navy, and continuing to grow through professional education.
